Wallet cards
If you want to hold your own keys, begin here. A wallet card draws on a self-custody wallet and the provider swaps the coins only when you pay, so no exchange sits on your balance in the meantime.
To choose between them, check the cost, the coins and networks accepted for top-ups, who is eligible, and how the issuer is structured.
Holding keys moves the risk, it does not remove it. A seed phrase that is lost stays lost, and the issuer can still block the card. The reviews show where each card stands on that.
